You can use this form to appeal to the Valuation Tribunal. This is an independent body and is not connected with the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) or the council.

We will need a copy of the VOA’s decision notice that you are appealing against. Please attach it at the end of the form or contact us if you are unable to do this.

  • You will find this number on the top right of your recent letter from the Valuation Office Agency under the heading “DECISION OF THE VOA LISTING OFFICER” (e.g. 123456/123)

    To appeal against the decision of the VOA Listing Officer you must send us a copy of the notice.

    If you were not the person who originally made the proposal to the VOA Listing Officer asking for the change or if more than one person makes an appeal about the same property there are rules about which appeal we will hear. We will tell you more about this when we write to you telling you we have received your appeal.
