Where the decision in an appeal before the Tribunal is likely to be affected by the outcome of another case pending in the Tribunal or higher court or tribunal, the President may stay proceedings.

Below are details of stayed individual appeals or classes of appeals which must not be listed or heard by Tribunal panels unless the President has lifted the stay.

If parties are aware of an appeal which has been listed but is of a type that has been stayed they must bring this to the attention of the Tribunal before a hearing.

Parties are entitled to bring to the Tribunal’s attention appeals that they consider should be stayed or make an application for a stay to be lifted.
